On this thread, there has never been at any time in your posts evidence of such respect. While I think liberals are generally not smart people, nowhere have I suggested that we don't need a two party system. I believe, and always have, that the Left provides a degree of balance. While there are certain conservative principles I think we should adhere to as a nation, I would not want a situation where a Tom Delay or the Moral Majority took control. We need the Left to balance the extreme right. But we don't need the extreme Left in a position of leadership. Hell, if he wasn't so partisan, I'd vote for Joe Biden -- think he'd be a good president.
