nope - this is different - until DB earns thier JV interest - the property is 100% Pele. So they can work the property as they like , where they like , when they like.

They are on the property working on an area that they have the most info on and working towards getting thier own larger bulks outta there. They ran a plant on site last year and 'tuned' it up at Lakefield over the past winter. So all of this is in the realm of doable.

Given Wawa's infrastrucure, costs were estimated to be under $10 cdn per tonne. If the stones are as sweet as they look so far, which area would you wanna spend your $$ on to mine?
The recent indicator minerals recovered at Festival graph up like a Victor pipe's graph (where they will spend $700MM to build a plant for 7MM t's per yr x 15 yrs) . Interesting eh?

De Beers has not been the bestest JV partner to date in the minds of most (all) juniors to date in Canada. This deal marks some new ground for them. They are a MAJOR in the diamonds trading world and they have ideas I suspect on how to stay that way.
