It would have just become another right wing tool, wouldn't have been long before Daschle, Kerry, Lieberman, etc., names started appearing on the futures list.

It was the most idiotic idea I had ever heard of. An act of terrorism would have a profit motive. Find some Muslim, plant some evidence and make it so. And the world if full of only nice people who would never hurt anyone for money. duhhhhh..... And especially duhhhhh for anyone who can think originally and understand just how easy it would be to create mayhem and lay off blame.
