How would you know? By your own omission, you don't travel much.

We have telephones here. Radio, TV and Internet, too.

None of which are a true substitute for travel and working with people from other places.

Why don't you address the point? You made a fast and loose statement and just don't want to admit it.

You condemned all business in Houston in one broad stroke, yet refuse to identify even one example other than Enron, and certainly can't come up with ten or more.

My negative business experiences were with small fry contractors, vendors, self employed people etc. I guess corruption starts at the top with the Enrons and works its way down.

Of course, not everyone was corrupt but many of them were.

It's a minor point, but exemplifies the looseness with which you guys often speak. Let's drop it, unless you have something substantive to add.

Sorry, ole wise one, but those who do business nationally talk and its common knowledge which cities are harder to do business in and which ones are not. Houston is hardly alone.......there are many people who won't set foot in LA or NYC. Don't lambast me about sh*t you don't know squat about.......you only embarrass yourself by showing your ignorance.

Actually, its not just ignorance, its intellectual laziness. Even your politics are hit and miss remnants from the past.....might makes right; American, love it or leave it; American, God's favorite etc. I bet you haven't had a new idea in decades.
