This is the same kind of remark we were hearing during the sandstorm. "The Pentagon underestimated the difficulty of this war; now they're in a 'quagmire'. Of course, nothing could have been further from the truth.

What the hell are you talking about? The Pentagon, wolfie, rummie et al have admitted that they didn't realize the numbers of troops that would be needed in post war Iraq etc.; that they didn't realize the extent of the problems they would encounter; that they didn't anticipate the amount of animosity that our troops would encounter. And they continue to claim that they don't have a clue how much this war and its aftermath will cost, and how long we will be in Iraq.

Iraq is a growing disaster that worsens by the day. Its appears sometimes things will right themselves but then the terrorists/ba'athists/insurgents rear their ugly heads and mess things up.

For God's sakes, morale is so bad among our troops that individual soldiers [and that's plural] were calling for rummie's resignation. I was amazed!

You all have a big problem.......you'd better be as smart and clever as you all think you are.
