My bet is that Cisco falls even if earnings come in good. The only thing that will keep this stock running upwards will be revenues beating expectations and a good outlook for next quarter. Failing that, the stock will come back down to $17 befor October's through. Having said that, here are the thread's predictions again:

08:57 ET Cisco Systems upped to Strong Buy at SG Cowen (CSCO) 19.15: The upgrade from Outperform is based on view CSCO is poised to reaccelerate rev growth as its noncore biz segments (Linksys, carriers, and emerging technologies) become larger pieces of overall revenue; firm estimates growth at the upper end of the 10-15% range. SG Cowen increases its FY04 earnings est to $0.67 from $0.64 and rev est to $20.5 bln from $20.1 bln.
