Sigh...how quickly people forget what really went on.

There was a significant block of nations that would have come onto our side if we had waited another 45 days. It would have allowed us to build a real coalition (instead of three countries who sent troops), and given us higher diplomatic and moral ground. It would have shown that Bush was not rushing towards war as a predetermined conclusion.
