Regardless of the source being BBC/CNN/Fox/Al Jazeera/etc I believe it is better to hear these things than pretend they dont exist. It helps me form a better informed opinion.


I'm not saying don't talk to them. If the glass is indeed half-full I want to hear from the 'empty' crowd as well as the 'full' crowd. It's just that the BBC World News gives me a continual stream of 'empty! empty! empty!' which teaches me not to trust their reports - particularly after their spectacular miss on the coverage of the war.

If you say anything against the war you are dismissed as "anti-Bush". The BBC is dismissed as "anti-Blair". It helps the neocons avoid coming out in the light of day to have their policies aired for what they are -- deeply flawed.
