i totally agree re long-term direction for oil. it's inevitable given the rising demand and slow decline in supply due to peak oil.

in other news, it's comforting to hear that the great state of California is raising almost $1.2 BILLION to repair some bridges. i'm sure they could've just pulled it out of their enormous operating budget surplus but just wanted to take advantage of today's low low yields...
