As close as I can tell, the sources for the atrocities are virtually identical to those of WMDs. Right. Neo-conmen and mad dog Zionists. Here's one of the breed who was using the bully pulpit afforded to him by the corrupt right wing press to spread his brand of baloney last August, just as the marketing pitch was being rolled out: news.telegraph.co.uk This article is for the most part about David Kay, whom I have an absolute loathing for. Mainly because he's such an inept liar. If he were good as a conman I'd have more respect. There is a passage in the article that is intriguingly about an unnamed British inspector. Here's that passage: One of Britain's most experienced former inspectors, now an adviser on Iraq to the Government, described the Iraqis' acumen for hiding key personnel and documents from the UN team. He said: "If we came across names of people we wanted to speak to, they would usually put them forward for us. But they were adept at hiding the people who really mattered. "On biological weapons, we never came across the person with the knowledge or expertise to drive the programme. There must have been a man at the top but we couldn't find out his name. They would just smile and say, 'there's no Dr Strangelove'." From the tone and the content, I'd be willing to wage this unnamed former inspector is none other than Dr. David Kelly, our celebrated suicide of late. Isn't it strange that in the end we are finding the Iraqis to be honest, i.e. there appears to be no Iraqi Dr. Strangelove, and the Yanks and Brits who led us into this quagmire are being shown to have an anthrax spewing Dr. Strangelove in their midst that they continue to protect..... So Long From Wonderland, Alice :)
