Days like today over the past couple of months have been followed by even stronger rebounds. There is obviously a lot going on here and it should be wild.

My gut (and even a few gold equity charts) see a spike coming in the coming days.

We shall see...

Check the line on GC03Q connecting the lows since 4/7. It is passing through a couple of points below the close. I'd expect it to hold, but we'll see very soon.

Selloff in gold would be an indication that the deflationary forces might be winning the inning.

I am slowly turning bullish gold in the long run for fundemental reasons, but trying to time it may be hard - and playing with significant positions could be risky. A bout of deflation could hit gold hard.
