We have had dozens and dozens around the past couple of days as they stock up to make the flight south!

Green Backed are the Ruby-Throated hummers. Neat little birds. My neighbor has 4 feeders out with three holes in each feeder and still has them waiting.

Have you ever seen a nest? Small like a thimble with a few very small eggs, mostly within 4' of the ground. When I see something like that it causes me to think again.

We also have hawk moths. You'd swear they are hummers until you get a good look.
