It's true that a lot of people say so. But few if any say WHY they say so.

It's simply the 'Yuck" factor that you objected to applying in other circumstances.

Even if people agree on a moral principle, and while most or all the posters say they agree we don't know what they really believe in private, if we're discussing the REASONS for moral positions, which is what you were doing vis a vis homosexual marriage (and objecting because people weren't articulating what you considered to be good reasons) it's fair to ask you how YOU would defend a moral principle YOU hold, so that we can see what you believe IS an acceptable basis for holding a moral position.
