Chrysler was an innovator in styling in the 90s. Too bad they never quite got it about the transmission and other reliability issues. When all is said and done, the US automakers have made improvements in the area of quality, but Toyota, Honda and Nissan are still winning the race.

Yep! It seems like American auto makers continue to put out very average cars. They've got to start engineering them like Japan does. I don't car what anyone says....they are not as reliable. I grew up in a GM town where its a sin to own Japanese. I had a Cadillac Sedan Deville for many years and that Piece of Garbage is down the road - never again. In 1987 I bought a new Fierro GT V6 fastback. The car was like 17k if I recall correctly (which was a lot at that time) and it just sucked! In the shop all the time. Now, I have an Acura and a Honda and I wont buy American ever again - UNLESS THEY GET THEIR SH!T together
