OOOHH BAAAAD ATTITUDE,

You are just one good dealer away from having fun buying cars.

It really can happen ,but it is rare - Thank Goodness.

The hallmark of our business is repeat sales.

Our town has 7500 people and we sell 1000 - 1200 new the last two years.

The Autonations and Group Ones (publicly owned dealerships) have chased a lot of good customers to us.

Those conglomerate believe in procedures that must be followed. The are prohibitive often to creating a long term rtelationship with an owner base that is usually not referred to as a "clientele".

It is an interesting and evolving business.

In my experience, the small privately owned dealership, where the owner can be found (when a disatisfied customer is created) is the most responsive and flexible form of organization.

There are just a few of us left and our growth has benefitted from the overly centralized sterile experiences of the MEGAs.

JMHO

Good to hear from you.

Case in point - I'm working this weekend installing a new men's bathroom. It has chevy wall paper and Granite sinks with Kohler fixtures.

I read Carl Sewell,s book "Customers for life" and he said make your bathrooms nicer than your customers have at home, and keep them spotless.I've been remodeling the bathrooms on weekends and am getting burned out. This is the final seal the Tile (that I laid also) and then I'm going fishing for a couple of weeks.GG
