Or our (near term) ability to pay for more of what we already have... and, really, how many more widgets do we need? How many flower pots - or pots and pans... sold now on Amazon for a pittance. Pity the inheritors of estates with duplicate and triplicate furniture - and only the income to support one or two houses... Pay for storage? Sell on ebay? Ship to India for resale... Preowned American goods... excellent quality... originally made in China? You are on to something profound, imho. And, very interesting... i.
