I really don't think these 2 events- silicon valley bubble and massive professional job migration to India compare in terms of the damage each can do to this nation Victor. Jobs temporarily created by Lucent are still US jobs. Sure they don't last, but while they do, the person employed is hopefully learning something, and paying taxes. Are you forgetting we have the largest budget deficit EVER, and a generation close to drawing on SS? Where the Good Jobs Are Going Forget sweatshops. U.S. companies are now shifting high-wage work overseas, especially to India time.com
