Great article on Microsofties, TL. A lot of my clientele over the past 10 years has been microsofties, go love em. For the most part my experience has been that Microsoft has an incredible number of fantastic people working for them...smart, kind, compassion, great decision makers. I have run into some snots, that don't know how to handle their sudden wealth, but they have been the few. And I believe they have learned a few lessons in the last few years.

The one that comes to mind as the snottiest...never sold any shares, they only borrowed against them, figuring that it would always be a mistake to sell any MSFT. They were wiped out. That happened to quite a few.

As someone who runs a nonprofit, my one pet peeve with Social Venture Partners, and many of the other MSFTies private giving plans, is that they only give to causes within this community. This community has needs, obviously, but the good that can be done with the same dollars in third world counties is astounding.....

Best to you, my friend.
