Bob, Thanks for the input - I always enjoy reading your inputs, both here and on the other threads.

I know you are a big COHU fan and they really did well this week. First, they had nice increases in "this years" and "next years" earnings estimates with increases of 0.14 and 0.10 cents respectively.

Those increases were enough to parlay COHU into taking top spot in the Group table this week with a 14 percent gain. Always nice to see a favorite stock lead the "pack" once in awhile.

I think the next couple of weeks are going to be quite interesting. IMO the market will be "retreating" during the next few weeks into the October time frame, but there are "powerful forces" at work which may prevent that. As we all know, the Internet age has brought forth a huge supply of information on market internals and forces that move the market. Which way the market goes will be interesting to see.

Presently, the SCE sector has some very high earning multiples to support. Earnings estimate increases are needed to support these high multiples. While there have been some increases reported recently, more are needed to keep this sector going. Since the sector depends on business capital spending, the "purse strings" from these companies need to be loosened. Will that happen in time to prevent a pullback in SCE prices? The next few weeks and months will tell the story.
