Question:

In New Jersey, earthquakes are measured with seismographs operated by the Lamont--Doherty Earth
Observatory of Columbia University and the Delaware Geological Survey.

Now that's just seismographs in NY and NJ. And only some of them, I'm sure. I doubt I found them all.

Seismographs are on 24/7 if possible. You never know when a quake will hit.

So how is it only ONE STATION reported this incident?

Tom,

This site has a good analysis of the collapses. From what I understand, the fellow who put the information together had a lot of help from a demolitions expert in the Army Corps of Engineers, so it gets a little technical in places. I've spent quite a bit of time with some of the videos of the collapse, and the implosion is very obvious when you know what to look for. Even with mpg files that tend to be grainy, it's fairly easy to spot the white flashes of explosive charges being detonated, and the heavy steel structural supports being blown out laterally at high velocities.

home.comcast.net

I don't have the link handy, but another site I ran across did an analysis of the collapse by timing the rate of fall compared to the acceleration of gravity. The towers came down approximately 1 second slower than a free falling object in a complete vacuum.

This site also has a lot of information on the towers and how they were constructed:

public-action.com

The official report can be found here:

architectureweek.com

It has a uranium in Niger flavor and it's worth mentioning that the Mayor of New York ordered the destruction of the majority of the evidence before any metal analysis could be performed on the supporting steel. It's also notable that in the entire report there is absolutely no mention of the possibility of a controlled implosion, not even to eliminate it as an explanation. The topic is completely ignored. The entire document is devoted to "proving" the preferred theory with no scientific inquiry whatsoever into alternate possibilities.

This site has some of the info you mentioned on seismic spikes:
