Yes, many americans have a problem, or at least find it interesting, watching our
national news, 30 minutes and no interrupts for commercials. (according to CSPAN
the USA average is 17 minutes of actual news per 30 minutes, with some getting
down to 10 minutes)

Even worse with those one hour documentaries, etc, also without commercials.

On the other hand we have a law on coffee (and lunch) breaks every second hour,
helps to concentrate for another two hour.

Btw, those commercials during news includes the news-team and channel advertising
themselves as well as what news will soon come.

Sorry, I have some problems with the definition "gasbags" with a lot
of women in congress, but sometimes in US it sounds like that,
even stumbling down stairs

Who knows, without the two-party system, single seat districts there could be more
hugging and breast feeding in the US institutions, not just a lot of
male-male shaking and pumping of hands, up and down, up and down
and all around??
