I wouldn't especially recommend the show. I've seen two episodes and probably don't need to see any more. I tuned it in because of all the buzz it was getting. It was kinda cute. I tend to enjoy makeovers. The guys they worked on sure needed a lot of help and they did an amazing job with them. I was surprised at what clothing they considered chic, though. They put one guy in dress shoes with no socks. Now, that's a serious "yuck."

Happened to flip to an episode of Hill Street Blues during a commercial break in the game (which the Mariners won 8-2, go Mariners!!) and on the characters had just come back from a prostate exam and was telling a friend about it as they walked past another guy who presumably was gay (I don't know the show, so don't know), and the first person (I wish I had your ability for story telling, but stick with me, the point is coming, really) and said "I can't believe some men do that voluntarily."

Which is certainly an aspect of the Yuck factor for most older men, who have to go through prostate screening that women don't have to go through, and the jokes guys make about it are legion and telling.
