That's right that we all think we are siding with the truth. The problem is being able to discern what the truth really is. We don't know if Bush is a Christian or not. And Bush is a politician and he needs the Christian vote to be elected and re-elected. Just because he says he is is not proof.

Why don't you at least be honest with even yourself. How can you make such a statement, when in reality, we have no way of knowing that YOU are a Christian? Just because you feel you have to throw down on others that admit to the moniker, does not make you a christian. Even the devils believe.

If you personally do not believe that a Christian should be involved in politics, then that is ok. You should immediately cease any further political postings on these threads, for your sake. You can judge no others.

God has His hands in our government and indeed of those of the world. Are we not called to be salt and light? Matthew 5:13-14, Others scriptures concerning government: Romans 13: 1-7, 1Peter 2: 13-14, 1 Timothy 2:1-3, Matthew 22:21, Proverbs 3:27; Proverbs 29:2.

Government is not a religion of salvation. Yet to ignore it is not wise IMO.
