A legend in his own mind. Truly unfortunate when folks have to embellish their military records. Peace time or war time, we all did our jobs. To embellish and pretend to be something your not is unforgivable to anyone that served. To pretend to be a front line war time vet when you are not is totally unforgivable. We all had our jobs to do as did the REMF's. Be happy with what you did and don't try to pretend to be something you aren't. It's unfortunate that bid as a REMF had to try and become a hero 30 years after the war was over.
