Well, if you call not having to live in gated communities, boring. I'll take that boredom any day.
If you call being able to walk anywhere I want without having to pack a "piece" boring, I'll gladly take that boredom.
If you call not having to worry about the safety (because of gun violence etc.) of my child at school boring, I'll take that boredom any day.
If you call not having to worry about losing my medical coverage if I lose my job boring, I'll gladly accept that boredom.
If you call not having my civil rights chipped away by a bunch of right wing religous zealots boring, I'll take that boredom gladly.
If you call being able to get away from the crowds in a mere 60 min. drive boring, I'll yearn for that boredom.

One man's boredom is another's paradise.
There are a few problems here though:
Illegal guns imported from the US by smugglers, who have free and easy access to them there.
Air pollution drifting over our borders from the US coming from coal fired stations and other heavy industrial sources.
