Many of these studies ask their questions one way, but the media report them quite differently and often quite invalidly. Sorry, there was no detail about the questions. While I agree with you about the validity of polls, I think we can safely assume that both men and women surveyed were asked the same question, no matter how flawed. What provoked my research was the question of whether there is a difference between men and women. Apparently not much of one in this case.
