By most accounts, the security situation in Baghdad is improving as US-trained Iraqi cops hit the streets. Regime changes tend to be messy, and Iraq is a picnic compared to post WWII Europe. One thing not mentioned in the article, is that no one has to worry about the Mukhabarat dragging them away in the night anymore.
