The problem with the press' war coverage is most are no longer imbedded. They are reporting from cushy USA locations and have lost their perspective.


They are all staying at the same Baghdad Hotel, traveling in their own little bubble, and looking for "Vietnam" stories. They were all anti-war, and still are. I read one the other day that claimed, with no evidence, that the Iraqis were mad because our troops were stealing from them at checkpoints.

All you can do is shake your head, read the little "real" stuff getting out, and hope the truth will prevail.
