You have not presented any connection between Saddam and al Qaida. Al Qaida operate all over the world. Few places in the world offer a more hostile environment for al Qaida than Iraq under Saddam. The corner in the north you referred to was not under Saddam's control -- deep in the no fly zone, made safe by the US. You want to find al Qaida today? Go to Afghanistan where they are thriving in the chaos of our military action and the failed government we put in place there. Destroying the Iraqi government of Saddam provides lots of opportunities for al Qaida to move in Iraq and take shots at our troops. Your hogwash is just that. No connection has been made by you or anyone else to al Qaida -- it had nothing to do with our invasion. We helped al Qaida by invading Iraq -- bin Laden owes Bush a great big "thank-you" for toppling Saddam.
