The whole point for the government / Pentagon to be involved is that they can chose a subject based on their own intelligence and to post it as "a future target" and then let the public respond how likely it is to happen. Secondly IMHO such site will attract lots of shabby characters and even those engaged in terrorist organization. The site can put out a tracer and track each visitor and their origin and learn plenty about how those that want to harm us communicate. Unfortunate all those politicians know zilch about anything useful or how to use technology to make us safe. All they have is big mouths, sling mud on each other and kill any real useful concept.
