Shack (et al) -- I understand why 962 S+P is important here, but I don't know that breaking it would mean doom. If we're in a 4 of some sort and that was the A down of an ABC, couldn't C go lower? I see support around 948-950 as well. Would it be doom if we hit that level?

I wouldn't get too giddy about down quite yet. We've got two underlying targets for the NDX - 1214 and 1230, both A=C targets off the 1316 and 1298 highs.

I do not recall the VIX ever leaving two gaps behind, especially at this level. The first gap is at about 21.50, so a spike high tomorrow AM followed by a reversal in the VIX would fit what I'm looking for.

I think we should bounce off CSCO, then dump after Max Pain is taken care of for expiration. That could be as early as this Friday, however.
