Louis,

<<Never invest, be a smart trader, watch your ass. For 3 years in a row, I have less than 30% of my NAV in the markets.
Don't know where to put that cash to work, but earn more than my cost of living with less capital at risk. And lose less when I am wrong>>

IMO, that is an excellent perspective. My percentage of NAV is about double yours, but still I never go near fully invested unless I consider the entire PF a slam dunk.

BTW, today's PM action looks great to me. I added more DROOY... the PM stock that everybody loves to hate <g>, but once it closes above $2.95 it will have clear sailing to $4.25.

Regards,

vt

Pareo for you, kilt for Wayne?

The mind boggles. I often put a big chunk of cash into something if I feel the odds are good enough (and I like the chart). I went whole hog on G and GLG a couple of weeks ago, and the return has been pretty good so far. I fact, they're both doing really well today.

Doesn't always work out, but when it does, it pays the rent.

Silver held 5$ today, but barely. Doesn't look good.

good advice Louis. Don't really see myself as a trader for a living. Not good enough at it, however if job is not found soon I will have to become more serious about it.

right now my NAV is increasing but not at acceptable levels and not in the right places.
