Suspend the tax cuts, increase homeland security spending, aid to the states for education, infrastructure spending on transportation, environmental protection - Don't start any more wars.

JS,
Dems are also asking for more disclosure on military spending, in the hundreds of billions. In this they are beginning to be joined by many Republicans.

Dems are also gaining GOP support in asking for more disclosure on this so-called "war on terrorism" to determine exactly who our enemies are and what evidence there is, in unvarnished detail, since the "varnished" reports are bogus.

This is the most critical National Security issue there is. We not only have enemies, we have an administration who for some unexplained reason desires to keep everything about these enemies kept secret, not from the enemies, but from the American people.

That suspicious hypocrisy is probably the primary source of anger from Dems and Repubs alike. Economic disruption and welfare for the wealthy is secondary, IMO
