"Someone who thinks it adequate to simply overlook the real-world results of his policy advice is not someone to take seriously." Agreed, this is precisely what the neocons do today. They overlook the real-world results of their policy advice and actions. That is increasing international discord, a failure to address the real international problems associated with dialogue and compromise, and the increasingly anti-cooperative actions of the one remaining super power. As a specific examples just look, in a realistic way, at the morass Israel/Palestine, Iraq, and Afganistan are today.
