Thanks! We only get "glimpses" into the “inner workings” of this Admin, but they paint a consistent picture. Given the obviously prevalent incompetence, and the almost impossible challenge posed by the neo-con dream in Iraq, a disaster was "baked in" from the beginning. What I've never understood was how, otherwise intelligent people (Friedman et al), couldn't see this?

Hope triumphing over reason?
