I understand
or
I skip posts also <g>

That sounds reasonable, it is never a good idea to charge into difficult situations. Now that you are here and reading I will try and clarify the last post that you didn't understand.

<<We are much stronger than we were a year ago, because we have acted as a great power should in pursuing its interests.>>

This statement seems contrary to explanations that have been heard from the current administration in their precipitous charge into Iraq. I mentioned that Mr. Bush didn't say anything like that when he was asking Congress for permission to take the United States of America to war. Did you hear Mr. Bush say anything like that or is that just your own opinion ? Do you think the strength the United States has gained so far is worth the cost in international relationships, fractured security spheres and young men and women from the UK and the US ? Mr. Bush said "bring it on", do you feel that he is willing to continue paying the price for the strength that you perceive the United States is gaining ?

I sometimes skip links if my own duties require a lot of reading and writing at the time.

This explains a lot to me.
Not only are we not of the same mind.
We are not of the same page.
