LOL!

Exactly. When you look at Dems fiscal responsibility over the past several decades, and Dean in particular, then look at commonsense solutions to the All Powerful Central Gov't, you end up with an antidote to both parties claims.

The GOP says Dems are "tax and spend", vs the Dems say that the GOP is "borrow and spend". Both are correct, w. the GOP by far the biggest spender.

The only way to reduce taxes is reduce spending. It doesn't matter how its financed, its the spending that causes damage to American national and financial security.

Probably the only way to reduce spending is open and full disclosure of every public dollar and program, like this volutneer website disclosing Bush-sponsored welfare to the largest agribusinesses:
ewg.org
ewg.org

Every American should be able to drill down to every dollar in the fed and state gov't, and find out where it went, who's involved, and determine for themselves if the results are what they want.

All such data is already in electronic form. It only remains for an executive order to make that available to public interest groups. Such things as the $2 TRILLION in stolen Pentagon funds would be a good place to start. Make all of the "black budget" items under the "black budget" category, and all the rest declared by program, location, and manager. It would cause a taxpayerr revolt to see the level of looting.
