North Korea is both a bigger potential danger and a danger that is closer to be active then most. It would be foolish to ignore it. Assuming it has nukes AND it has missiles that can reach the West Coast of the US as they contend, then they are a danger but no more than China or a half dozen other countries. However, there is a huge difference betweeen them and OBL........they are sovereign nations; OBL is not. They have a lot more to lose in a confrontation with. That is a critical difference that many seem to overlook. Its that difference that makes al Qaeda THE threat to the US. ted
