I hope you weren't put out by the running dialog between pro-life and me jumped threads to this one. I didn't know this was just a prayer thread. Seems I'm always stepping on some Christians toes. I think that's my calling. To shake the Christians out of their entrenched thinking. But.....on the face of this news about Bush's stand on Gay marriages it sounds good. Even makes me hopeful we can have a moral society. But on further consideration I have to say that Bush knows where the votes are going to come from to get him re-elected. That's cynical, but it's a cynical world. I still believe that Bush is a cynical politician, not a moral man. He has done more to further the goals of the New World Order than any president in history. Judge a tree by it's fruit. And despite what he says it will most likely come to nothing just like the decades of promises to end abortion. My prayer...since this is a prayer thread.....is this. That every Christian make it part of their daily prayers to ask Jesus to not let them be deceived. Every Christian has to ask for that protection. In the Word, in the world. Don't let me be taken in by deceptions. That's what the world is all about. Deceptions.

grampa, other polls show it different...check Gallup, even NBC, CNN show that gays are ahead because you can vote AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT...try it. their agenda moves on...MY VOTE? A marriage is between a man and a woman...all else is sin.

Hi All As you know, it is in Canada that this same sex 'marriage' thing has raised its deplorable head. Please note that this did NOT get through parliament as parliament closed for the summer. There is suppose to be a 'free vote' on this once parliament resumes. This is an issue that has woken the sleeping giant here and the govt is about to feel the backlash from the quiet Canadians!! Also, Chretien is french for Christian. Go figure!! Little wonder, we have had Mad Cow, SARS and now these raging fires out west, not to mention some other type of mystery virus. Last Sunday, we as a church, repented and stood in the gap for the mistakes of our political leadership and asked God's mercy on our land. Blessings to one and all, In His service
