I can fix the North Korea problem but no one has asked.
Sigh...

Ted, David, and others, a wonderful editorial on that "study" (and I use that word very loosely) which associated conservatives with traits like "fear and aggression", "resistance to change", and "intolerance of ambiguity."

usatoday.com.

This is a must read for anyone who still doubts that higher education is left-biased. Not only is there bias, but it's so far left that the lack of diversity is causing polarization.

It has much to do with the age of the students as it has to do with any bias. People tend to be more liberal when they are younger and more conservative as they age and acquire possessions. That's not true for everyone but for a lot of people.

Universities by their very nature are progressive places where there is a great deal of experimentation, again reflective of the age of the students. It is not such a great place for people who tend to be reactionary and want to end a woman's right to abortion or consider gays sinners.

None of this is news nor should come as a surprise to you since you went to school.

BTW I was shocked that Bush said publicly that gays are sinners. I hope that convinces Rep. gays that they need to find a new resting place.
