I sold my $67k fixer in Oceanside, CA. for $250k, pocketing the whole capgain and moved into a VW camper to go looking for another one. EVERYWHERE I go seems equally inflated or to have no prospects whatsoever. (Humbolt Co, CA., Austin, Tx., Portland, OR - the most promising so far )
Does anyone know of a depressed area likely to rebound? Should I just keep the money in CD's? The mattress? It occurs to me during a time of deflation money in the mattress would inflate. Chris
