Tim,
We have what 140k troops in Iraq? We lose one a day or so to action or accidents?

How many people die everyday in a city of 140k due to crime and accidents?

I'm pretty sure the losses in '91 Gulf War were less than peace time operating stateside. Odds were you were safer deployed in the gulf than staying at home in '91.

I think it is evident a religious state cannot be ran properly for all of its citizens so I don't know how we are going to convince the people of Iraq that their religion is not good enough to use to rule the country.
:)

Steve

because we care about individuals

We do today. If you are familiar with the story of Wake Island, it makes you wonder to what extent we once did.
