Intelligence Reform Author Cheers Dean's King Appearance

Comments on Flaws in Panel's Thinking

Monday August 4, 11:21 pm ET

WASHINGTON, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert David Steele, a 25-year veteran of the U.S. national security community, founder of OSS.NET, and author or editor of three seminal works on intelligence reform, today cheered for Howard Dean's superb appearance on Larry King Live.
"Howard Dean is the real deal," Steele commented. "This is a man who is accustomed to getting the facts, weighing all opinions, and making an informed judgment. There could be no sharper contrast than that between this honorable man, and the incumbent President who led America to an unjust war on a platform of lies.

"Dean is not only solidly in the center, he is the only Democratic candidate capable of revitalizing the vast majority of America that has dropped out of politics or been marginalized by the Republican-Democratic conspiracy to dump the League of Women Voters for the specific purpose of eliminating third party participation in the presidential debate process."

Larry King and his panel have missed three critical points:

(1) Bin Laden is very very smart. He realizes that the best possible
catalyst for a long-term Islamic radicalization is the re-election of
Bush Junior. There will be no Al Qaeda attack on the American
homeland until after November 2004-expect a rocky Christmas.
(2) The majority of Americans have dropped out of politics or been
marginalized. Howard Dean can not only bring the Democratic Party
back to life, he can provide a big tent for everyone else as he
commits himself to electoral reform.
(3) The blond from Texas is evidently not aware that there is a Defense
Intelligence Agency report on the Internet that documents the
chemical attacks on the Kurds, many, many years ago, as being of
Iranian original. The use of chemicals over a decade ago is not
evidence of current chemical capabilities, but then Texas Republicans
appear to be very loosely educated.

You know, when you think about it, in the past two and a half years we have lost over 2.5 million jobs. And has anybody really stood up against George Bush and his policies? Don't you think it's time somebody did?

He never said how he will spur the economy or create jobs......can ANYONE here tell me of Dean's proposed economic policies to do so?
