If you are really concerned about promiscuity, especially in the young, may I suggest you go after the movie industry? You have chosen a really silly target, if your real concern is promiscuity. There just aren't that many homosexuals- but there are millions and millions of teens watching graphic sexual stuff at the movies. Rather than showing them your crusade against homosexual sex/marriage, as a beacon to them of moral chastity, get those movie directors to tone down the advertisements for quick casual HETEROSEXUAL sex. And let's talk more to our teens about their brains, and how NOT ready for good decisions they are. Because I know teens, and most of them are pretty logical (oddly enough) and they aren't going to see any connection to homosexuals and their ability to marry, and be treated as "normal" people, and teenage promiscuity. You obviously see a connection- but unless people feel just the way you do, they are not going to see it Neo.

I continue to struggle to find the essence of where you're coming from. I appreciate your bearing with me.

Let me see if I have this right. Since a factor in the argument for easing up on homosexuals is that their inclinations are built-in, then the practitioners of immoral behaviors will make the excuse that their behavior is build in, too, and we will have to ease up on them as well. That we will end up excusing serial killers rather than branding them psychopaths and putting them away because they claim that they're just wired that way.

Or at the very least we will end up accepting a further general loosening of sexual constraints, which is not a good thing for society. The issue, then, is one of holding a pragmatic line to protect society from further deterioration. Yes?
