That is crap. What point did I miss? You said this:

I simply pointed out that your statement implying that repugnance was a natural condition was incorrect. It is INtolerance which is taught. You do not have a genetic "repugnance" any more than the Greeks did. You have a cultural "repugnance" which stems from the inculcation of certain religious beliefs across several centuries. Having a repugnance is not synonymous with "preference". Those of us without a great deal of religious baggage have no "repugnance" for it at all. They are just another variety of persons.

So it is correct to call the repugnance homophobic even though it was culturally taught. Racism is culturally taught as well but we do not excuse it on that account.
