China’s H1 premium income rises to 215 billion yuan

BEIJING: China's insurance premium income totalled 215.425 billion yuan for the first half, up from the 172.815 billion yuan recorded for the first five months, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission said on its website.

The insurance regulator said property insurance premium income totalled 47.649billion yuan for the first six months, up 11.631 billion yuan from the total for the first five months, with life assurance premium income rising to 167.776 billion yuan from 136.797 billion for the January-May period. – AFX
