"We can defend this action because it was in America's best interests to end this war..." What you are saying, in essence, is that all the moral and ethical values of our Christian Culture, the very foundations of our social and religious institutions, should be abandoned when we engage in war--in other words a total return to barbarism. In a brief statement, you have abandoned all of the values and beliefs in our Culture that make our Christian democracy worth fighting for. So what do we have left when we decide that it's okay to commit war crimes and justify the evil of murdering hundreds of thousands of civilians because our war machine leaders tell us it is in our best interests. When you abandon our Christian/Western democratic values, there remains nothing worth fighting for. This is what happens when a Christian Culture gets polluted with amoral and antichrist Talmudic values.
