Normally, the Cursor Data Window (CDW) colors are the reverse of the chart's: whatever is the chart's line/text color becomes the CDW background color, and vice versa. But you can change it this way: right-click on the CDW and pick Colors... from the menu. Change the colors for text and background from Auto to black and white. (CDW font and color options were added in QCharts 4.2.)
