He Just About Got Elected Last Time In retrospect, it will be easy for the American people to conclude that Bush stole the election and that he in fact deserves a chance. In the context of the problems which will make it impossible for Bush to get re-elected the people will want the type of national and international experience and exposure that he offers. By then I also think that the people will be nostalgic for the good time, prosperous, Clinton years, and that will also work to his benefit. He was never really out. Just staying above the fray and giving himself options. I think the only circumstance that he would not run is if the polls show that there is no way he can win. He really does not want ot lost to Bush twice.
