Instead of "looking forward to my next post" why don't you try justifying your post that minimized the loss of American lives in Iraq?

Or maybe more of the same. After all, you didn't even talk about how many die each year from choking, smoking, freak gasoline fire accidents, train wrecks,---. Hey, you can keep on minimizing those horrible deaths every day, after all, there are many ways people die that don't have to do with Iraq.

The point is that you are now out of the closet. The kind of "support our troops" guy you are is the same as the "bring it on" kind of guy.

There is a time and place to fight and kill. The question is whether this is one of them. The question is not whether a certain number of casualties is "not that bad." The sooner you, the president and others come to realize that, the sooner these decisions can be made with full respect for the awesome cost we ask our young men and women to pay.

I suggest you stop writing childishly mean-spirited posts and think about that.

Zero, re, >>"[y]ou must realize your previous post is an SI violation of the TOU and has been duly reported by several posters on this thread since personal attacks and vulgarity are simply not allowed here..."<<

That's a very revealing statement. Since you're the only one that talked about my post having been "reported," you either made that up or you have a group of "right thinking" posters that gaggle together and share private posts in defense of the "right." I'm guessing that's it.

A small but vocal group of radical, right-wing supporters ready and willing to ridicule, harass, shout down and personally attack the posts and posters who have different views. Lots of back and forth "ha ha's" and a few "hate America, Saddam lover, antiAmerican" names tossed in. Meet substance with ridicule and abuse. Private messages to enlist support. Organized efforts to "duly report" violations, drive off the reasonable, lower the level of debate, and horse laugh the opposition away. Goon squad tactics on an internet scale. Wow, what a concept for democracy. What a novel approach to the free flow of ideas. Dirty tricks politics on a home grown scale but, like your heros in power, the ends do justify the means, don't they?

It's not much short of a religion, is it? Let's see, there would be you, jlallen of course, probably Jake Straw, definitely Prolife, maybe Bill and Secular Bill and possibly a few assorted occasional faithful. Have I missed anyone? I'd hate to leave out any of the "internet warriors for the preservation of one hate filled point of view."

The only difference between your approach and that of the guy that posts every anti-Jew writing he can find to villify the Jews and blame them for everything that he sees as wrong in the world, is that you substitute "liberals" for "Jews." With that one exception it appear that you share a messionic hatred of a group and a failure to grasp the subtleties of complex issues. It's too bad, not for you, but for the boards your vigilante-style attacks clutter with disgusting refuse, so that reasonable people often go elsewhere. I shouldn't tell you that though, should I. That's a measure of your success.

Most people don't take you very seriously but I worry that your tactics are contagious. I think I'll stick around just to poke a few holes in some of your posts, like the ones where you like to minimize the loss of young American lives in Iraq by pointing out that other people are dying in different ways so we should keep things in "perspective." I'll be in touch. Adios again.
